You have a few ways you can wear this piece: you can wear it on your hair, tied under the hair or over (which in that case you can twist some strands of hair around the strap- comes with up-do instructions). You can also wear it as a forehead band, or you can attach the wreath to the back of your hair- the straps could be removed and by using two bobby pins, one on each side through the hoops where the straps were before, you can secure it to your hair. It will even look amazing as a waist belt.

The straps are made from faux suede, out of love and respect for animals.
